IN STUDIO PORTRAIT AND MODELING PORTFOLIO SESSIONS (backdrop and off-camera strobe lights)
Due to the sheer enormity of the photos taken in 1 hour, the pricing for modeling shoots is being simplified to $100 for a 2 hour session, and $100 per additional hour.
Expect to have several hundred photos snapped, and about 6 per hour that will be well liked. So, you can expect to have about 6 photos per hour that come out great. Longer shoot times allow for more changes in outfits and a change in the background. This gives a great deal of variety to the finished portfolio.
I can’t stand editing photos, so no editing will be advertised. If you have one or two that you really like and what some adjustments, that is fine. However, people wanting to look younger, thinner, and flawless for twenty photographs, need to instead be younger, thinner, and flawless or hire someone else. I just can’t do it anymore :(
FOR MODELS, IF YOU NEED A PORTFOLIO CASE AND HELP WITH HOW IT SHOULD BE FILLED, THERE ARE TWO TYPES AVAILABLE BELOW
I sell them, but I do not recommend the purchase. I have found the modeling business to be an industry full of scammers that want to sell photo shoots for $400-$1,200.
I personally have seen too much. So, I sell photo shoots for people that want good pictures taken, regardless for which they are used. Modeling is a hobby for a young girl, it can be healthy and fun. I recommend some legitimate photo shoots for a mom and daughter just for the bonding experience; a day of beauty. As far as any portfolio packages, there is no science to it, there aren’t skills or talents taught in any of the schools, and the girls that do get work are often getting creepy offers. But, if you still want a modeling portfolio case, there’s the two main types suggested in the chat forums of modeling websites (I checked myself).
Prints were recommended to be done in 8 x 10s as an industry standard, but the girls getting work are now saying that the new thing is the 9 x 12″ with the photos sized just slightly smaller so they can fill the page and still fit in. The girls were talking about the trimming them or getting them printed on metallic paper with very precise measurements.
The Slim Profile Portfolio Case for 9 x 12″ Photos is $35. Delivery will cost additionally for shipping and handling. Free deliveries are possible in the Bryan/College Station area. It is pictured below with more detailed descriptions on each photo.

A zippered portfolio case (pictured below). Usually used for experienced models with more previous work to show and several odd-sized clippings. You usually need this larger sleeve size to hold a clipping from a magazine or publication. They will want to see it as it was published on the page, not just the photo. The sleeves on this zippered case are 11 x 14″.The zipper is so they don’t fall out and get lost. The case has 10 double sided sleeves and a business card holder. The black zippered portfolio case costs $70. Delivery will cost additionally for shipping and handling. Free deliveries are possible in the Bryan/College Station area.
To purchase either case, click on the contact form below and in the message area, leave your delivery address and contact info, how many portfolios you will need, and I will arrange shipping and contact you with the total payment.
